Mogo Tobacco was set up to produce high quality tobacco products for the local and export market. We buy green tobacco on the auction floors of Zimbabwe. We process that leaf to separate the blade from the stem, and we blend it to the recipe a customer asks for. Our products are lamina, fines, stems and cutrag.
Zimbabwe is Africa's largest tobacco producer, and its flue-cured Virginia leaf has a reputation built over a century. Most of that crop still leaves the country only part way through the chain. Our work is to take it further, here at home, and to sell a finished product rather than a raw one.
We are a registered and licensed Zimbabwean tobacco company, buying on Zimbabwe's licensed auction floors and exporting to customers at home and overseas.

Our buyers know the Zimbabwe grading system and know how a run of bales behaves on a sales line. Our factory people know what conditioning and threshing do to strip size. Our leaf accounts team ties every kilogram bought to every kilogram packed and shipped. Our IT systems hold that record and make it auditable. Between them over 20 years of tobacco experience.
