Lamina.

Lamina is the part of the leaf that does the work in a cigarette. We take the cured leaf we bought at auction, soften it with steam and warm air, tear the blade away from the woody stem, dry it back down and pack it warm.

We supply lamina from all plant positions and across the colour range. Grades can be single grade or blended to your recipe, so that every case in the shipment is the same.

Our lamina is bought on Zimbabwe's licensed auction floors and processed here at home, for customers at home and overseas.

Preserving Leaf Integrity from Floor to Case

Our buyers know the Zimbabwe grading system and read plant position, colour and style before a bale ever reaches the floor. Our factory people know what conditioning and threshing do to strip size, and stop redrying at the right moisture so lamina holds a year in the case. Our leaf accounts team ties every kilogram bought to every kilogram packed and shipped. Our IT systems hold that record and make it auditable. Between them, over 20 years of tobacco experience.
